Jacob Sowders

Jacob (Jake) Sowders was raised on a ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills, where he developed a strong appreciation for agriculture, land, and rural communities. Growing up around cattle operations and livestock auctions, he was exposed to the auction industry from an early age and developed a lifelong passion for the auction block.
After moving to Kansas and earning a degree in welding from Hutchinson Community College, Jake continued pursuing his interest in agriculture, land, and the outdoors. He has since joined McCurdy Real Estate & Auction to combine his background with his passion for real estate. As an Auction Manager and REALTOR®, he enjoys building relationships and helping clients achieve successful outcomes while serving agricultural and rural communities throughout the region.
